Using MSC CareTrack, MSC monitors important patient benchmarks on behalf of our customers. This telephonic, automated outreach maximizes our ability to contact all patients, and because it is administered repeatedly throughout the continuum of care, provides our customers with current patient data to make important real-time decisions.
MSC CareTrack’s automated health survey tracks patient progress and helps payors determine how well treatments are working. MSC CareTrack is powered by QualityMetric’s SF12v2® Health Survey*, one of the most widely used patient-reported outcome measures in the world, to measure physical and mental health status, functional health and well-being from the patient’s point of view. This data can then be used to make informed decisions about adjustments to patient care that will help return the patient to work and an optimal quality of life.
Management of medical rentals is a time intensive process, and unchecked and unused rentals are a source of unnecessary cost for payors. MSC CareTrack verifies that the patient is continuing to use each rented product, allowing MSC to effectively monitor high-cost rental items and terminate rentals when the patient no longer uses or needs them, when medically appropriate. With MSC CareTrack, we are able to dramatically reduce the average monthly duration of rental products for our customers.
Quality Assurance Management
Through MSC CareTrack, we contact each patient to verify products were received and are in proper working condition, and email our customers a delivery confirmation after verification. MSC CareTrack also confirms that a patient has received quality service from MSC representatives and our network providers.
While our automated technology ensures maximum outreach and follow-up, MSC CareTrack can also respond to specific patient needs by transferring calls to a live customer service representative when requested.
