Our Equipment & Device Management experts know that professional, on-time delivery of the right products facilitates faster return to work and improved quality of life.
We also know that duration of care directly affects injured worker outcomes and your bottom line. For these reasons, thorough provider credentialing, delivery confirmations and follow-up calls, rental duration monitoring and identification of opportunities to convert to purchase are key aspects of MSC’s comprehensive Equipment & Device Management program.
What Sets MSC Apart
MSConnect Utilization Management: The management of rental equipment has long been an arduous process associated with countless phone calls and/or e-mails. Payment for equipment no longer in use is a significant cost driver. MSC’s proprietary utilization management program, known as MSConnect, will significantly reduce our customer’s exposure to costs incurred as a result of equipment rentals going unchecked. By using IVR technology, this program allows us to contact patients more frequently and ensure their rental item is actively being used during their recovery. The outcome of the patient’s response immediately triggers either removal of the item from their home, or the request for a letter of medical necessity from the prescribing physician along with extended authorization. The result is rental periods that last only as long as they are necessary and appropriate, which translates directly into savings for our customers.
MSConnect Quality Assurance: MSC provides QA and follow-up on 100% of all active orders. While many vendors find this to be cost prohibitive, MSC has invested heavily in the use of our MSConnect technology. This technology proves to be more successful than traditional methods of telephonic contact by meeting each patient’s specific needs such as patient’s time zone and geographical considerations. This maximum level of contact to all applicable patients allows MSC to more effectively monitor customer satisfaction.
