MSC is now a One Call Care Management company.
As a result of the merger between MSC Care Management and One Call Medical in 2012, the traditional brand identity of MSC will be transitioning over to the new unified company, One Call Care Management.
As an outcome of this change, our Complex Care & Home Health Services and Equipment & Device Management business units will be referred to as One Call Care Home Care and One Call Care Equipment + Devices respectively. In addition to the name change, each of these business units will receive a new look and feel in accordance with the suite of services under the One Call Care Management umbrella. You should expect to see these changes in April 2013.
Optimal Care Transportation & Translation and STOPS are merging into a new, combined business, named One Call Care Transport + Translate. However, until the full integration is complete later this year, the business unit will continue to operate Optimal Care and STOPS as separate service centers, with a “business as usual” approach that preserves the legacy operating models of both companies until the integrated operating model is completely implemented.
So what does this mean for you? It means that you can continue to rely on the same level of service excellence that you have come to trust at MSC while utilizing the same referral methods you do today for all of our business units. MSC will continue to collaborate with our customers to deliver quality outcomes for post-discharge workers’ compensation patients while also maximizing cost-effectiveness.
