What information is typically missing at point of intake that may delay product delivery?

  • Diagnosis code
  • Doctor information
  • Height and weight
  • Employer information
  • Product details (prescription not available)

5. What are typical turn-around times for product deliveries?

  • Most items (typically used for hospital discharge) may be available for same day delivery.
  • Most standard products are available within 1 – 5 days after we receive authorization.
  • Custom products may take an additional 1 – 2 weeks (or longer) after the evaluation occurs.
  • Prosthetics, custom wheelchairs, conversion vans, specialty beds and other highly customized items may take 4 – 6 weeks (or longer)
  • Bone Growth Stimulators – 3 to 5 days unless different orders from physician
  • Items drop-shipped from the manufacturer or through a catalog company may be shipped via overnight, second day or standard delivery
