The Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services, Workers’ Compensation Division, has issued a temporary rule providing that, unless otherwise required by contract, the insurer must pay the provider’s usual rate for orthotics and prosthetics. The rule, which became effective on July 5, 2011 and expires on December 31, 2011, is available at: http://www.cbs.state.or.us/external/wcd/policy/rules/docconv_21365/9_11054.pdf.
